Help with a virus.

I keep getting...
"Explorer has caused an error in MSLAI.DLL"

Did a scan and it said I had the backdoor.jeem trojan so I did deleted all files related to it in the registry.

Rescanned and it said it was clean but still getting...

There is a chance that the virus damaged the file...

Its too late for me to research it for you now, maybe tomorow. Just finished a 5 hour take home test that should have only taken 50 mins...

whatever is wrong with your DLL wasnt caused by backdoor.jeem

also, i think you are typing the DLL filename wrong, are you sure it is mslai?

I've NEVER seen an MS error not come up on google. :D

If you were infected with a backdoor trojan, then there's no telling what custom hooks the fuckers have done or are running.

I would back up your documents/porn/mp3s (no .exes) and re-format if I was in your shoes.

In add-remove programs, click IE6 or whatever you have, and it should give you the repair option. Try that?
