Hello Beyond Forum Members!

Looking for a 5km fun run this Summer? Zombie Survivor is coming to the Calgary Area this Summer.

Do you have what it takes to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? Find out with a 5km run through mud, water and blood thirsty zombies.

After the run join us at the 'end of the world base camp' for music, games and beer gardens. Calgary's own Village Brewery will be on location with their beer truck along with X929. It all goes down on July 20th at the Cochrane AG Society.

Well there is a car involved in one of our obstacle drafts. But I don't think running into it probably would be towards your advantage.

I signed up months ago for both the run and being a zombie. Looking forward to it!

I ran early in the morning. It was good except for a few zombies at a certain spot that were way too aggressive.

I then was a zombie for the afternoon with a good group we got set up with and it was a blast. Everyone was friendly and we tired to be fun and fair.

I'll do it next year, one of more fun "races" I've done.

Was lots of fun, and was happy to survived. Seemed kind of pointless recording times as I found you could not survive without surrounding yourself in slow moving meat shields due to the amount of zombies in each section. Next year I want to just go as a zombie all day.

fuuuuuck....

Yeah, anybody with an M1 tank I can borrow for a few days? Run into the side of that bitches, zero fucks will be given.
Only I'll be treating them as real zombies and packing a Gatling gun.

I know we're a little late replying to this post (better late than never!), but we had an awesome time putting this event on and we're glad you guys had fun as well.

As this was our inaugural event we know there were a couple of hiccups the day of, but we have taken all the input we received from participants and will be tweaking and improving the race for 2014.

Look for early bird registration for the 2014 race in the next couple of months and thanks for all of your support!

3 year bump anyone doing it this year? it's July 23 if anyone is interested I know some of the organizers and could probably get a discount code for beyonders, change in ownership and I believe bigger then before.

races like the zombie race, tough mudder, spartan race are so pricey if you've done one you don't need to do it again.
