Recently bought myself a 93 Escort wagon as a 2nd car to haul ass around town (also for cheap laughs :poosie:)..

Needs some new tires, I thought about finding some 17's and throwing them on it but with around 70hp to the wheels, the car's slow enough..

The wagon uses spec 175/70/13 tires..

I'm looking for all seasons, hopefully something that is at least decent in wet weather..

Canadian Tire has those Motomaster tires, they usually have a sale with certain models every week..anyone want to comment on any of the models they carry? This week, they have the cheapest, bottom end AW+ tires for $35 for all 13's..not sure if this is the route I want to go..

I'm in Vancouver BC so I'll need a tire that can be readily available..this wagon doesn't deserve special order dealies :D

send am e-mail to Anand.

As for Canadian Tire tires... I am sure they are made by someone else... just find out who.

Last time I checked, like 5 years ago, Walmart tires were made by Goodyear.

Dont go to cdn tire, just out of principal, they suck and shouldnt be supported. kal tire/ ok tire/ etc are pretty large companies and reasonably prices. there are probably some good local tire places around van too.

Canadian tire tires are made by michelin, bf goodrich and goodyear. The AW+ is a cheap tire going for $35. The tire is made by michelin and the it comes with warranty. You also have the option of buying extended warranty for an extra $5. So for $40 dollars you can run the tire down to the wear bar go back and get a new tire for free. I would recomend the LXR but the aw+ is fine.

I cant see how you say canadian tire sucks i dont know what priciple you are going by. But the bernoulli principle just aint cutting it. But you are entitled to your own opinion.
