mexican restaurant?

is it more like ChiChis (american mexican food) or more "southwest" mexican which is loaded with cilantro?

More like the old Chi Chi's. If you want really good Mexican, go to El Sombrero on 17th right above Ming (i think) It's GREAT food.

Salt & Pepper is not very authentic Mexican... I know this because I travel to Mexico for work many times and it's not even close. Now, El Sombero is authentic. Not to mention, I had a "mishap" at Salt & Pepper that I would like to forget... Let's just say that I ate something that shouldn't have been on my plate.:banghead:

reminds me of chinese restaurants
I consistantly find pieces of steel wool inside of my shrimp dumpling when I go to Regency Palace for dim sum. They've never failed me yet since I've found a peice of steel wool OR hair everytime that I've gone there.

Anything similar to that?
