Cops outside beacon goodlife fitness

Just saw a bunch of cops/swat outside the beacon good life fitness and saw someone was in the back seat of the cop car. Any one know what happened??

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a homicide that occurred last year.

At approximately 9 p.m., on Friday, June 8, 2012, police were called to reports of a man being assaulted by two other men inside a silver Toyota 4Runner in the 1900 block of Southland Drive S.W. The horn of the vehicle was pressed several time during the assault.

When police arrived and circulated the area, they located the vehicle parked in an alley behind the Braeside Shopping Centre, with a deceased man inside.

The victim was identified as Graham Mark SEAR, 28, of Calgary

As a result of the investigation, police arrested a man in the Beacon Hill area on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

Christopher Brian RICHARDS, 30, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of first degree murder.

His next court appearance will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 9 a.m.

Homicide investigators believe this incident was drug-related and that one or more other people may have been involved. They continue to seek assistance from anyone who may have information on this case.

Investigators continue to look for a suspect described as Caucasian, 5’8” to 6’ tall with a slim to medium build and light-coloured hair. He was wearing black hoodie and jeans.

Investigators also believe there were people in the parking lot at the time of the incident, who have not yet come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the altercation, or who has any information relating to the homicide, should call police or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
