There may be two from NASCAR that were closer...

0.002 seconds in 2003 in Darlington - one of the best ever?

0.002 seconds in 2011 in Talladega - quite a bit more boring than the Darlinton finish or the Indy Lights finish

Go round and round in a circle and finish 0.0026 of a second behind.... had someone not farted on a tire changeover the end results might have been very different.

Kind of doubt a botched tire change was a factor in any of the three videos above - pretty much looked like racing for a win in all three.

In a race, every second counts, miss something here or there and it adds up real fast. One needs to be minimizing all extra movements. My point was and is, a pause put your team in second or third. That is all it takes.

Very cool.

Definitely didn't expect the indy car outcome.
