Description : I'm exploring the option of finding a new home for my Silvia. I imported this car in 2004 (One of the first 5 S13 Silvia's brought to Canada) I have really enjoyed this car but I feel like it's time to pass it along to someone new, as I'm preparing to do a fair amount of travelling in the near future and this car has sat in storage long enough, someone needs to enjoy it.
The car is currently a salvage title, due to it being a random victim of a bunch of shithead kids who decided to vandalise a handful of cars in Breaside one night. It is a salvage title only due to the fact that the insurance appraiser went absolutely nuts with the appraisal post-vandalism. The appraisal came up at over $10,000 in damages and thus wrote off the car, and it has sat in storage since then. This car has not been high enough of a priority for me as of late to complete the re-certification inspection needed to register the car again.
The vandalism was dealt in the form of newspapers stuffed all over the car, in any crack or crevice they could stuff it into, and then lit on fire. At the time of the appraisal it looked as though the paint on the car was scorched and the whole car needed a repaint, but shortly after this I took it to my friends detail shop and it all rubbed right out, it was merely residue from the small flash fires that burned off quickly. There was only one spot on the hood that damaged the clear coat.
Any further questions or inquiries into the extent (or lack there of) of damage from this incident I will handle personally, and I suggest coming to take a look at the vehicle in person, as it's far easier to convey what happened this way.

As stated before, the car is a SALVAGE TITLE, and will require an inspection to re-register the car. The vehicle is in fantastic shape, although the nature of the inspection will require that things be brought up to spec (Brakes etc.) (I would budget $1000) The frame is in no way twisted as it is not an accident salvage, it basically just needs a certified mechanic to approve it for road worthy status. I am contemplating having this inspection done myself and re-listing the car, so the reduced price may not last. I am simply seeing if anyone is interested in taking it off my plate.
