I am selling my corolla because I have recently purchased a newer vehicle. so I have no intentions of keeping the old with my any longer ..
I am the second owner, purchased from Heninger Toyota around 2005.
It has been daily driven since then with around 20,000KM a year
This model is the top of the line corolla in that year with power everything,
a lot of the models came with manual windows and mirrors and no AC.
This model has everything, even the factory Toyota wood interior trim.
I have modified this car with a lot of JDM goodies.
Front headlights, Grille, and corner lights are from Japan off of a AE101
model, black housing with single beam HID lights, working great.
Front fog lights are from a Lexus LS model, custom install for amazing
factory look, yellow projector lens with HID system,
The lights are big and bright and work great.
Lightly smoked out tail lights, all bulbs work and shine flawlessly.
Custom KYB struts and TIEN 2" lowering springs mounted to brand new
oem knuckles, tie rods and lower control arm, strengthened chassis flex
with front upper strut bar, stability and nimbleness is great.
Everything on the outside is nice and stock for the factory look.
The paint is still immaculate Toyota SuperWhiteII . Minor surface rust
is starting to poke out from the rear wheel wells and from around the still
factory windshield.
Interior has been completely redone when I purchased the Levin GT.
Replaced the carpet and seats to authentic JDM cloth, rear seats are
from a JZX100 that I custom mounted to fit the corolla. Trunk has been
stripped from carpet (dont remember why, just did). Dash and glove box
along with headliner and pillars are untouched factory.
Tinted windows 25% rears, 30% fronts done by myself (flawless job with
great expensive material).
The Motor's story, The factory 7AFE 1.8L motor and automatic tranny
served absolutely great, smooth engine revving and no problems with
shifts, regular maintenance every month has been looked over and
replaced if needed, oil changes were strictly done every 3000Km, spark
plugs once every 2 years, distributor cap and rotor replaced twice with
new cables, so it was getting amazing gas mileage with premium gas.
I was looking to switch out the automatic for a manual and ended up
buying a JDM AE101 LevinGT apex coupe, it had a 4AGE silvertop with
a 5spd manual, I spent 6 - 8 months researching and accumulating the
proper parts and tools to swap the old gutless motor to this new torque
monster, so the swap only took a week, from 105HP 97FT/LB 7AFE auto
to a clean 170HP 145FT/LB 4AGE 8500RPM 5spd.
