My car was stolen sometime last night (MONDAY MAY 27) (from a Fountain tire service centre just off Bow Trail and 37th Avenue SW).....

It is a metallic dark blue Saturn Astra XR hatchback with licence plate WML 406. The windows are tinted (back is darker than the front), I have an orange parking pass on the front drivers side dash, and a crystal hanging from my rear-view mirror.

One of the pictures included is the actual car. (First picture is a generic pic, the second, dimmer one is the actual car)

I am hoping that if anyone happens to see it out and about, could you please call the Calgary Police Service?

(If you see it on the road being driven, you can call 9-1-1 and tell them where the vehicle is located and the direction it is traveling. If you happen to see it parked somewhere, you can call their non-emergency # at 403-266-1234)

Please do not approach the vehicle or the driver if you do happen to see it....I do not want anyone to be in a dangerous situation, it is just a car and not worth any risk to your safety!

Though I know it is a very long shot, I figured that it couldn't hurt to have a few extra sets of eyes on the look-out. Again the licence plate is WML-406 .

Well, it's >99% luck/act of God (depending on your beliefs). I actually spotted it when I went out for a drive at lunch. Too bad it was travelling in the opposite direction so I had to do a u-turn a few blocks away but by then already lost it. Then I cruised around the neighbourhood and finally found the car, parked up. Then I called CPS and they took it from there. Hopefully the car is in good shape (looked alright from the outside but no clue how it looked inside).
