Paying off financing early?

Hey guys, I sold my side by side this week, and have a short period until its paid off. Is there any harm with me just leaving the money in my account until the financing is paid off, or should I just go in to the bank and pay it off now?

Unless its some sort of line of credit, won't there be a lien on the car until you pay it off?

And does the guy who bought it from you know?
