So I have a scratch on the passenger side, under the side view mirror. It's not a deep scratch into the body, it's pretty light and I was wondering what the best solution would be getting rid of it. I have spent some time looking at different products and I was watching different videos on this

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/CarWashingCleaning/CarPaintCare/PRDOVR~0390449P/3M+Scratch+Removal+System.jsp?locale=en

Would this do the job? Does anyone have any previous experience with this product?

Hard to tell without seeing it. There are many different types of scratch damage, and you also need to be mindful of the paint already on the car. You may have a thin clear coat and upon sanding you burn right through it. Then you'll have a bigger issue than the scratch itself. Start with some polishing compound and see where that gets you first.

What would you suggest? Meguiars ultimate compound? I was also wondering I have some small rock chips is there a way to seal those?
