After I sell the stuff I have up right now it'll be, D800, 16-35mm, 50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.4 and 70-200mm 2.8. Oh, and the 8mm fisheye, but it gets used on both Leica's :)

Both Eau Claire shots and the last window shot were with the Voigtlander 28/2. Glad I didn't sell it as it's a nice lens wide open.

All I hear about on Leica forums is CMOS colour sucking compared to CCD and WB issues, but I haven't had a problem. Everything I've posted so far just has contrast and curve adjustments, partly because I've forgotten how to process colour :rofl:

It's $9.50 for a 24x24" sheet of the 60mm think stuff, and $4.50 for the 30mm. It's layers that are glued together so it's pretty easy to cut and remove sections fairly cleanly. They say quantities limited, so I bought a couple extras to throw in the basement.

Does the picture look too dark from your monitor(s)? It looked bright enough when I was editing in my laptop but in this monitor I'm using today, the darks are more pronounced, darkening the photo...

I think I got a feel of what you're trying to do.

If you make the shot tighter and less distracting, it would be better.

The blue roll cage takes the eye away from the Honda logo and would've been better if you moved a couple steps to the right and angled your lens more to the left to take that vertical bar off the shot, but kept the horizontal bar on the frame.

That's just my take on it. Happy shooting! :guns:

Travelled to Europe this past month, these are some of my favorite portraits. The majority of these were shot in Paris, I found the Louvre provides plenty of amazing light for portraits! This was my first time shooting all natural light without any type of flash in over a year so it was a challenge but I feel I leared a few things!

ok...took the original shot (with ducks) and worked on it some more...cooled the white balance a bit, brought up the blues and the reds, and did some selective dodging on the nose of the locomotive to get it a little brighter...

I think I'm happier with this...thoughts? despite it's name it's still an open book...

if post, i would lose it unless the couple likes it but personally I find it unnecessary and distracting

Actually I just got it to use with my M/LTM lenses so I can't comment on the AF. Haven't decided if I'm gonna get any X mount lenses yet. The 35/1.4 and 18/2 are tempting though and not that expensive. I'm just shooting JPG right now until I get a better handle on it.

Yeah I bounced around between the idea of the XE1 and the XP1 for a bit. The XE1 has a better EVF and was more readily available on the used market, but the XP1 has the OVF which is what I really wanted.
