I heard about this and I do enjoy his music but not enough to just go see him. If there were other acts with him maybe.

I could see this if his album was all "thrift shop" type songs, but they aren't.

I started listening to him because of his other songs not because of thrift shop. Though I did find it catchy.

fuck, hiis 'rap is significantly better than most of the shit coming down the pipe anyways. reminds me of slug. probably wouldnt go, unless atmosphere was there.. lol

He is just a cheesier, poor-quality clone of slug. Everything this guy is trying to do slug already did, a million times better, 15 years ago. And it bothers me that all of the macklemore bandwagoneers don't appreciate (or even know about) that.

EDIT: and being popular has nothing to do with being a fake-ass sellout. look at the beatles or radiohead or bob dylan, for example.

If you don't like him or his music who cares? Move on and do something else productive.

Why do people find it necessary to knock down various artists, do they personal affect you. I mean who gives a shit what people listen to or who makes music or who they listen to. You can choose to listen to something else if you don't like it.

Like lets all get butt hurt over people we don't know.

Because it's the internet? Everybody pisses and moans more than ever. All I asked was "Who?" because I've never heard of him. Likely not my type of music.

He's a pop artist, that puts out POP music. That's basically it..

I've listened to his other songs. They aren't anything special. And the only reason he IS even known is because of the song that said 14 year old girls listen to. Otherwise, he'd just be another guy with a couple thousand followers on youtube.
