I actually didn't pay too much more for my Condo last may! and the condo fee's in mine are lower! (Comparing to the Five West condo's)
Mind you my condo is about 150sq ft smaller.

Its not like you are using more common area space the bigger the unit...
I don't see how its fair

Perhaps not. However when your windows need replacing you will need more of them.

Condo fees are always based on square footage.

I'm just jealous how the 2 bedroom suites in Arriva are at least 300 sq ft larger than what is offered now. And the one bedroom suite sq-ft is the same or in some cases larger than some 2 bedrooms now as well

Bit off topic, but Sugarphreak, since Arriva was 35 floors, do you know when people started moving into the building starting in the lower floors compared to the higher ones (i.e. floor 10-15 vs. floor 30-35, etc.)?

Thanks, did not know that the upper floors moved in first but it makes sense.

Current Listing at Arrive 2BR around 17Floor for 599k, in 2005, it would have been about $380 according to the listing. Infation of 380 to today would have been about 440 in todays money. Still a nice appreciation.
