Well I'm going to give it a shot. I'll report back in 3 months and see if I'm still a fat fuck.

It's definitely intense lol. I did the plyometrics workout two years ago.. Couldn't move the next day the first time I did it haha.

Make sure nobody with a video recording device is anywhere near you the first time you do the oblique V-ups.

It's a good set of workouts but I've never seen any one actually get in good shape doing it.

Same as any other infomercial workout equipment/routine, only people who buy into it are fat/lazy, have great intentions but always give up. Good luck though.

I'll be starting it next week and go strong for at least 90 days to see if its worth continuing. I don't think its a scam in any way, I think the people who get minimum results never actually followed the program religiously like you need to. A strict diet is a must and if they're eating garbage everyday well its a waste of time.

I take it you didn't go check out the other thread on p90x. Also change isn't instant, but everyone wants that. You can see change didn't start until about 2 months, and now at 4 months a big change.

That's because they overlook the most important detail:

Spring rolls in my mouth.

Weird how I checked BMI quackulator and me being 5'8 and 180lbs says
my BMI is 27.4 and for me to be considered normal weight I would have to
be around 160lbs and that's near the edge of being overweight at 24.3.

Just doesn't really feel like I have 20 lbs to lose. I went from 195 early in may
and weigh in at 179 this morning. I'll start p90 and see how far I get. I'm
not fit as of today just doesn't feel like I'm walking around with 20lbs of fat.

Does anyone around my height actually weight around 150-165 ?

I'm 5'7". When I was 195 I felt like a fat piece of shit. I dropped down to 160, now hover around 165 and there's still some fat to lose.

I used to be 150 at 5'8" but now I am 170lbs. I think 165-170 is a good weight for me at my height.

I think at 179 I'd either be ripped to shreds or have too much fat on me

What I was getting at is that most people that do p90x are lazy and never brake the 1 week mark, they buy into the hype and give up. I understand change is a slow process, I've been going to the gym atleast 5 days a week religeously for the last decade.

Well giving up p90 in a week is better than giving up on a year gym membership.

I use to do P90X at home for a while but I really struggled to commit to actually work out at home so i abandoned it and actually got a gym membership. Worked out well as the gym is 2 blocks from my work making it convenient enough for me to be motivated to go.

I still do the ab ripper x at the gym though. For some reason I really like it and I see results from it so I am continuing it.
