Stampede tickets

So I've never bought tickets before, but a few of us want to hit up the bull riding and chucks, probably on the 13th. Are there any ways to get deals on tickets, or is it pretty much buy them on the stampede website or at the venue?

If you know anyone who buys stampede lottery tickets ahead of time (the ticket packs) they get a code for each one for discounted tickets. Those are the cheaper seats already, but every little bit helps.

All the best seats will sell out for each day, garanteed. For the weekends, msot of the seats are probably already sold, even the crappy seats.

I haven't heard of any active market in re-selling these tickets either.
