Hey guys, due to a LONG string of events, I figured I'd best head back to Calgary until mid July. Im not overly concerned with hanging around town for the Slut-pede, so I figured I may as well enjoy my summer for a change and head over to the west coast.
I'd *LOVE* to head down to Nor Cal, but that may be a bit far for such a short trip. Probably start off checking out the Glacier national park in Montana, then just head straight west towards Portland & Seattle, then down the coast line from there.

Im REALLY tempted to take the Triumph sportbike, but I know I'll honestly despise myself after a couple days of riding, since for brutally long trips, sportbikes aren't ideal to say the absolute least. Perhaps I'll just hop in the Buick for this.
:dunno:

Seattle and Portland are amazing, I just adored both, but I know there is a shit ton more to see en route over to the west coast.
Perhaps both are just an idea, but anywhere else to go in the states? straight south of us is a vast land of prairie nothingness, so Im not too sure where else to go asides from heading to the west coast, but I'm definitely down for ideas.

So if you guys can school me on awesome places to go and do, beers are on me next beyond meet & cruise.

One great route is SR20 across the north end of washignton.
Highway 20 - WSDOT (http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/passes/northcascades/)

Logan Pass in Montana, Yellowstone, Definitely Seattle (Underground, Pike Place, Aero Space Museum).

Highway 93 from BC south into Montana is a great route.

I did a trip from Calgary-Vancouver-Seattle-Spokane-Logan Pass-Crowsnest-Calgary.

^sweet, any pics? Keep them coming!

I assume both routes aren't too ideal for a bike with a limited sized fuel tank.

I'll post some pics of last years route soon on here. As for the Calgary Seattle and back trip. The leg between Seattle and Spokane was the only hard bit for gas (mind this was in the Malibu with only 18mpg on a 60 litre tank).

I also have a really cool route for a Yellowstone trip if your interested.

Obviously take the bike..

I just finished a 10,000 KM trip across the U.S. on mine, best thing I've ever done, and I've done A LOT.

PM me for details/suggestions.

I liked Zion National Park.

Also the roads around Big Sur in California are unreal fun to drive in a good handling vehicle.
