JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Distribute products within Calgary and surrounding area (moderate heavy lifting required).
- Perform general territory management responsibilities.
- Administrative duties include mileage and expense logs.
- Possibility of growth into account management role based on performance with appropriate compensation.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
ˇ Distribution of product including customs clearance of shipments.
ˇ Relationship-building with existing clients.
ˇ General administrative tasks and light email/computer use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ˇ Class 5 license with clean abstract which will be required at time of interview.
ˇ Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
ˇ Candidate must have use of computer, printer and internet with preference for email capable smart phone.
ˇ Self motivation; strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently unsupervised.
SCHEDULE:
- Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-12pm to start
- Hours to increase with satisfactory performance and job responsibilities
- Work hours and days are not flexible so candidates must have at least Monday and Wednesday mornings free. Occasional Tuesdays may be required.
- Please note that this starts as a part time position of only 7-10 hours/week. As such, this is a good part time job for supplementary income but not recommended as a sole income source.
COMPENSATION:
ˇ $250/week starting wage.
ˇ Quarterly bonuses and wage increases based on achievement of performance benchmarks.
- Starting wage of $250/week is based on a 7-10 hour workweek which breaks down to $25-$35/hour. Additional details to be provided to interviewees.
