There were these fish tanks at the Calgary Home show that had glass over top of them, they looked like cubes that were fully encased, with just a smaller black box for the filter or electrical in the centre of the top of the cube. Do you know what these tanks were and where I can get one?

That website has no details on the tanks I look for. Do you recall the name?

Pisces pet emporium has them I think.

We bought one at the home and garden show from them.

FYI they can be difficult to maintain.

Not a "real" fish guy, just have a couiple simple fresh water tanks but my neighbor is insane and into the $$$ saltwater hundred plus gallon tanks.

He got one of those for his kitchen and he said that although it looks cool it was a lot more work than a conventional tank.

We have the Fluval Edge as one of our aquariums. It is a nice little system and really catches a lot of attention from guests, but it is definitely no as convenient a system as a regular aquarium. As you can only access the inside of it from a small area on top, it makes regular cleaning etc a bit more of a chore, but really it isn't so bad once you figure it out. The lighting that comes with it isn't really good enough to sustain live plants so mods are needed if you are into that sort of thing. It really is only sized for a few small fish too. It makes a nice sort of accent aquarium as opposed to a main one for sure...

I have a Fluval Edge in pewter I'd like to sell. It's new and hasn't been filled. I've taken it out of the box to look at and can't get everything back in but comes complete. Let me know if you're interesed, looking to get $100.
