Smaller Ride August 17 -18

Ok, so my big ride out to the coast is a no go due to some family stuff with my riding buddy...so change of plans.

Anyone up to just do Calgary to Kalispell via Going to The Sun Road?

Could leave either Friday the 9th or Saturday the 10th, and come back Sunday the 11th, or whatever day people have available...I can get a pretty good deal on hotel rooms in Kalispell through work for whatever might be needed.

Any takers? It's only a 5 ish hour trip each way.

The sun road is ass personally. I prefer the the fernie to kookanoosa route to kalispell. The boarder near glacier park is shit too.

I went through the border there last year and there was no traffic at all...you just have to get there at a decent time.

I want to ride going to the sun as it's a road I've never ridden before and want to.

On that note though, I'm thinking the week after is going to actually work out ok. I'm still thinking I will go to the coast on the weekend of the 9th and 10th.

Anyone have some GoPro's that can be borrowed? someone change the title to the week after?

^ Buy a Go Pro Silver edition for $250 or so at Bow Cycle (the bicycle place, or PM Swak). That's my next purchase when Im in town next. Dont get the black edition. Lots of people report issues, and a very short battery life unless you use the extension pack, or wire it in to your bikes electrical system.
