Wow, I can't believe The Asylum made a movie I want to see AND it happens to be an original too.

This was also a nice touch haha

Apparently it was on last night in the US on the SyFy network. Half my twitter feed was people tweeting about it - enough to get my curiosity to the point where I may have to watch it tonight.

This comment from IMDB sums it up:

Gloriously Incompetent and Gleefully Terrible.

And yet with a group of pals you would be hard pressed to find a better time. Absolutely nothing make sense. Physics and natural laws are ignored. Horrible CGI and cringe-worthy dialog. Outrageous continuity exceeded only by horrible color correction and clunky editing. The all together wooden acting no doubt achieved in single takes is sincere, earnest and fails on levels that should win awards. And you can't stop watching. My friends, yelled, laughed, joked, stomped, laughed some more and had a fine time. Now how many times can you say that watching a movie? It literally becomes an interactive experience. It is surely a classic. Not sure exactly what kind. But it is a classic.

What happened to good-bad movies. I mean like there were some gem's in the 90's like Tremors where those movies were definatly B-rated movies, but thought and effort was put into it to make it actually plausible/enjoyable.

I recorded it when they replayed it on Discovery Channel. I must say, I had a good time watching it with the girlfriend. The editing was.......interesting.
