Well, I recently started looking at cars in the Tucson, Phoenix area of Arizona. I really dont know what to look for, I have around $5000-5500 to spend at the moment and I'm just looking for something sporty, and pretty much looks good. I see a lot of differences in some of these cars I have been looking at and it has become very, very hard for me to make up my mind.

Anyways, I have been looking at Eclipse, Older Lexus cars, and A LOT of Hondas, well really I hav been looking at EVERYTHING . Anyways is there any suggestion on to what I should look for in a price range? I just want something that will last me awhile without breaking down constantly, and something that LOOKS good. If anyone could give me any tips to what I should be looking at it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to travel to buy a car if it is the right one.

Thanks!

Buy a Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86) and don't look back. A few members here on Beyond have them, and they love them (from what they write). Oh... and they're RWD too... so that's fun... :)

I'd take that 300Z over any of those.....well, thats just me

Have you ever thought about getting an mr2??

RWD, Turbo, 5-speed, T-Tops, MR-layout, 2 Seater and about 200HP stock in a 27-2800lb car

cant go wrong with that

I was wondering why those cars are so cheap than I find out it's $US.

Is $5000 all you have or just the limit you set yourself to spend?

Just want to remind you that you better budget for insurance/gas money if you're really considering a $5000 Caddy Serville V8.

A Prelude is probably your best bet both for price and cost of ownership.

hey man, for $6000 u can find a decent prelude, a nice s/c mr2, maybe an old lexus SC, a teg (well i personally dont like tegs a lot), a 240 (the new ricer fad)...these are all suggestions assuming that u like driving for driving and not for comfort and useability. whatever u do, dont listen to the ppl who tell u to get an ae86. anybody who has actually owned an ae86 for any appreciable amount of time knows that they are a ton of work and that most ppl arent gona be so willing to put that much effort into a car.
