I bought that one a few years ago and love it. The hollow handle works great as a snipe for cracking lug bolts too.

I bought that one also, I really like it. No problems so far and lifts very quickly.

^^Thanks. One of my main gripes about working on my car is having a shitty jack that takes forever to raise my car with. For $99 that's well worthwhile

Ya, since the handle is so long, it takes about 8-10 pumps to get my volvo up. Worked well on my G35 because at the read diff, with my cheap jack, by the time the jack lever was moving the jack, you were hitting the muffler. Not a problem with this one.

Picked it up last night. This thing is awesome..rubber padded sadlde is great and it lifts as fast as a nascar pit crew. Plus the low clearance is very helpful.

Haha, that 3.5 ton jack is 100 lb..

I rather buy the Motomaster one at 27 lb even though it's only 1.5 ton.

The $80 2 ton one, not sure the brand, but looks decent too.

How's the torque wrench? I've been looking for one and that one seems pretty decent but also a bit cheap and I don't want to skimp on a tool I plan to use to tighten my lug nuts.

keep an eye out for that torque wrench, it sometimes goes as cheap as 54.99 for the 1/2" and 49.99 for the 3/8". I like em, it does the job for what you pay.

I have had it for a few years. Very good quality but all I use it on generally is my wheels as when you are trying to torque something else, it is just too large, so a 3/8" would work better. I will get that maybe next time they are on the cheaper sale.

Have one of these jacks at home and it's alright.... but I much prefer the beefier (but more expensive) Michelin low profile jack Canadian Tire sells.

UrbanX has true low profile jacks for sale. CT jacks have never been good to me.

If you need a 3.5T jack, the PA one is extremely solid - it's 100lbs because it's built like a damn tank.

I just picked up the 3.5 ton 100lb beast from PA last night:

http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/Floor-Jacks/3-1-2-Ton-Low-Profile-Floor-Jack/8002093.p

It is freaking awesome. Total overkill, but I can now jack up one entire side of a pickup... if I ever own one... haha. After reading about lots of those aluminum ones grenading I decided to pick something up that should last me forever.

The good part, as long as they keep making them, most replacment parts are $10 for it.

Haha sweet. I'll probably pick that one up. Tired of getting ones that creak and wobble over time when you're trying to get your jack stands up.

Overkill is good in this case :D

The Canadian tire near west hills has a much better one on sale. I paid $94 for it. It's a true low profile with beefy hardware and much better than the one in the original link. It's definitely better than the princess auto and michelin jacks.

I was really surprised with the quality, it also goes a little lower than the urban X one. The urban X jack is still an awesome option if these ones sell out.

My CT low profile aluminum one lasted through 7 sets of changes over 2 years before it died. Quite disappointed.

Just purchased this one from PA on sale the other week. Hope this won't fail in the middle of a change like the other one.

CT has the 3 ton jack on sale right now. About half an inch taller taller than the 1.5 ton so not as low profile. I've been waiting a while for this to go on sale.
