I have 2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8L Turbo. I know the testing has changed this year for Ontario, CANADA and testing will be done via OBD2 port rather than tailpipe (dyno). I failed the first time because I had CEL on and didn’t realize they changed the testing.
If anybody can shed any light on the details of testing and based on information above if I will pass? I don’t plan on keeping this car that much longer and would really like to avoid forking over $$$ to fix the car enough to eliminate the codes for good. Any info would be appreciated.
