Theres a bunch of toll booths until chicago or so (only one in NS, but a bunch in the US, some are only a dollar 2, others are more, like 10-12 if I remember right - so best to have a bit of cash)

I dont have any route I stick to, I just drive where I happen to end up. Lots of vineyards in NY state, and you can hit a lot of citys along the way. Huge warehouses in the midwest, lots of old buildings and manufacturing plants in like cleveland, buffalo, chicago..

South dakota is nicer then north.
