Hey just had two questions regarding my MKIV 2.0 L Jetta:

Give me your opinions:

Tune-ups: About how much mileage should be allowed between tune-ups.

Oil Changes: About how often should I get my oil changed. I do run full synthetic oil.

1. Every 60-80k

2. Every 5000-8000

The 2.0 is notorious for drinking oil - can be up to a quart in 2000 miles. It's normal, but you can't forget to check it.

Running pure syth is a waste of money on the 2.0 if you consume oil - but if you are not burning much then no worries.
