Well we got hammered in Rockyview/Balzac. I can't remember a nighttime storm that has gotten me out of bed in a long time. Yikes.

Hey jdmakkord, did you just get hit now?

And no way the NE will get hit if balzac got it already

No, storm is NOT heading to SE Calgary, it is tracking EAST bound right now and has dissipated significantly.

Storm warning came in late last night but not a scratch up by the Hamptons.

I drove up into Bearspaw to check out the lightning storm.. It was absolutely incredible. It's been a while since I've seen a storm that generated to much consistent lightning. There wasn't much rain though, just a few drops. I'll try to upload a vid..

Another storm watch - NOT WARNING - but there is a storm south of us by a few hours heading North. Could miss us by that time and hit Strathmore.

Don't think there was anything in Arbour Lake either. No broken trees/leaves anywhere in the morning. Must've hit the edge of the city.

Can't believe it missed Calgary, I'm not that far NW and she was heading SE fast. Glad to hear it did though.
