I am soliciting 95% of the beyond population and asking them...is this available in Calgary. If so...where? thx

Any chinese restaurant more focused on the northern cuisine will be a good start.

Not 100% but try the one beside Calgary Court in Chinatown, may be Peking Garden in Varsity. Ginger Beef in Sunridge used to have it but it's long gone. May be that restaurant by Empire in Panorama too.

Can't say about good hand made noodle in Calgary but hand made noodle shouldn't be too hard to find.

Fire Kirine in the south actually makes these only upon special request.

Since so many noodles are made by hand (one pull) it would make multiple noodle dishes hence the required request.

Edit
===========================

Restaurant is called Fire Kirin, and here it is on a google search

Such a lost art. Vancouver and Toronto are the only ones I heard existed. Even if one existed in Calgary, I doubt they are good.

We don't have enough population that appreciate it to attract good chefs to come to Calgary and set up shop.

I know there were some Chinese noodle pullers working the salon by fowler, but they all got busted for prostitution. :D

I believe the Ginger Beef in Brentwood does it.

That's gone bro. University City is now built on the site.

Unless they moved to somewhere else in Brentwood.

But +1 for Peking Garden, don't know how good they are, but had it a long time ago.

As northern cuisine goes, this place isn't bad but no where as authentic as ones in Van.

There is a noodle house called Fat Kee on 32nd Ave NE and they sell handmade noodles in the back and/or they serve hand made noodles. Place looks ghetto as fuck but its delicious!

They're still in the same mall. Moved to right beside Safeway.

You mean these ones? These are called Shandong Beef Rolls, and I'm going to learn how to make them.

Lazy Monkey across the street from Churchill, few doors down from Yamato may have it. I had it a year ago, it was pretty good. It was a special off menu item so may be phone them and see when they have it. Beef noodle

Yeah but Great Taste is Shanghai-ese food. I am sure you can ask them for less cucumber and more green onions. Sounds like you had the dan dan mein.

Actually it wasnt dan dan mein. I've had taiwanese beef noodle for a couple years as a hangover meal in vancouver. Great taste apparently doesnt have any green onions in their fridge lol
