I'm not talking about 5W-40 but the new 0W-40 grade? Supposedly it's made specifically for the Canadian market and I would like to try it but Canadian Tire and Walmart only sell the 5W-40 grade. Why make it for the Canadian market when Canadians can't get it.:(

It might be only available in 5 gallon buckets at the truck stops.

TBH - I wouldnt bother specifically with this 0Winter oil unless youre in the North part of the provice in the winter. Even then the 5Winter would suffice... IMO

FYI The pour point is -51c for the 0W and ONLY -42c for the 5W.

I'm more interested in the lower kinematic viscosity of the 0W-40 which is closer to a 5W-30 which is what Subaru recommends as use.

Ah were talking polymer engineering now, in that case check a local truck stop for this.

UFA usually carries a ton of Shell products. I would call them first.

I thought I saw this at Walmart Deerfoot meadows.

I know for a fact the UFA in Rimbey has it...my Cousin has been feeding it to his 6.0l Ford, makes a huge difference in cold starts!

Try any local UFA.

Try the Flying J on the corner of 23st NE and 24ave NE,I believe they're a Shell products dealer and I've used them in the past to acquire hard to get oils.
