LF: Wall Insulation..

I need about a half a bundle of insulation to fill in a section under a new window being installed today.

Cheap or free would be great.

If i have to buy, what is the recommended R-value for wall insulation these days.

My window guy brought some for me.

Anyone have some 3/8" foam panels kicking around ?
