AB plate BCS-7560 on a VW Golf/Rabbit Mk5?(had just a Rabbit symbol on the hatch), 2 door, lowered with stretched tires, charcoal in color, younger blondish haired caucasian kid driving that likes yakking on his cell while driving - looks like a possible beyond type.

Saw ya EB on Glenmore going to NB on Deerfoot today around 2:40 or so - tailgating people 2 feet of their ass at 80-90kph is totally a bozo idea plus all of the wild ass lane changing without signals - more bozo moves. And all that then to just get up to around Peigan and putz along 5-10kph under the traffic flow in the middle lane and then start pulling the same lane changing bullshit near 17th Ave - c'mon buddy. I guess kudos to you for getting of your cell at least.

Now this shit might be cool with a few other beyonders, but 2 feet off of some stranger's bumper - give your noggin a shake. Anyhow, if you're not on beyond, then I ask that any beyond member that knows this BCS-7560 guy to have a little chat with him. Certainly if this was my kid, I'd be having a chat with him as there are certainly people out there who'd think nothing of brake-checking some twat who's tailgating that close.

I think we should start an official road rants thread, I had someone with an Alberta Plate FAWKES9 red Honda Civic sedan force me into oncoming traffic on the transcanada near Rogers pass last weekend and repetitively was weaving to prevent me from passing him in passing zones.

Some people say GOOD things...

I enjoyed following AB plate ALEKSIS in a white X5 between Hope and Kamloops BC on labour day this year.

We could all probably provide multiple examples - I only posted up about BCS-7560 because their car looked to be something a typical beyond member might own/drive - no less than I called out another person that drives a yellowish BMW.

It's getting to be an increasingly small world, what with the internet and all, and sometimes a friendly reminder on a public forum might, just might, be enough of a wake-up call for someone. For BCS-7560 - maybe not as his actions were totally confusing, speeding and lane weaving/tailgating followed by senior citizen, middle-lane cruising followed up by more jack-ass antics. Hell, even my wife commented on how ridiculous it all was just because there was no consistency to it.

Nope. Muddy away - if we can at least maybe shame a few bozos into driving better, then it's to the betterment of us all.

Yeah that was me. I have Since stopped even though that was the first time i have ever had a go at it in that much traffic. Speaking of stupid drivers, you need to witness the NE a bit more, I avoid at least a minimum of 2 people a day that come really close to ramming me. On top of that i actually end up honking for others who come inches close to one another and have no clue what the fuck just happened. I really need a dash cam. Sucks having 3 cars as i cant afford a blackvue for each car :(

^ you dont need a Blackvue, a 60$ DVR 027 will work fine most of the time. I bought one for the weekends-only use truck.

I've had success with $23 eBay cams, 1080p too (though PQ is crap).

Can you catch number plates ? Or is it not that good. I dont mind dropping a $100 or so just not over $300 for two dashcams

I've got a $40 eBay camera, and it won't catch plates unless I'm right behind the car, and close up.

It does the job though...if I ever had to show a video to the police, I'd probably say the license plate number out loud for the cam, just in case it didn't record it visually.

Either way, the camera paid for itself already...last year I got into an accident, and the dashcam backed up my story and ultimately was the deciding factor in me being found not at fault. Best $40 I ever spent! :burnout:

What Stealth22 said.....not until you are really close. I can see if I screen capture a frame and post it here.
