Not sure how many members are affected, but just in case. My dad owns one soI just called him to let him know. 2006-2011 Toyota RAV4, and 2010 Lexus HS 250h

So that explains why they are so slow on Crowchild.

lol V6 rav4's are balls fast haha.

It's a simple recall update, no different than any other. It's launched in phases so owners are contacted not all at once. Nothing to fret about. You should always wait a few weeks prior to booking a recall after its announcement anyways.

Most have a muffler recall as well.

Yea, just giving people a heads up just incase. I agree though, the V6 Rav 4s definitely have some power. Borrowed my dads one for a trip once :burnout:

This affected my RAV last time, awesome, I get to back to Henninger (and I still need the muffler recall done to).

Crazy that my RAV has had more recalls in the last 2years than I've had on my VW.

So far I've seen 100% failure rate on the muffler recall, so they just get replaced instead of the updated shield. Been getting mad scrap metal money since the "muffler assemblies" include a cat.

As for the suspension arm, on the first recall I only had a handful that failed inspection. If they've revised the inspection criteria to include rusty ass threads as a fail, there's gonna be a lot more arms getting replaced out there.

What I fucking hate though, is the media catches wind of these things and reports on them before Toyota releases any information to techs internally so news-watching customers will ask me about X and Y campaign that they just heard about and all I can do is stand there like an idiot because I haven't heard anything about them.

So our 2009 got the stickers applied onto the rear suspension arm as part of the last batch of recall.

What's this muffler recall?... oh, nevermind, just searched... seems to be for 2006 - 2008... for now... :P
