Who didn't see that coming.

They decided to *not* reduce excess money printing by $10 Billion or so per month. $85 Billion per month buys a lot of Cheesy poofs, let the good times roll. Sorry young people.

QE infinity. The entire phony economy would collapse if the removed their asset purchase program and let rates rise to non-manipulated levels. Everybody with half a brain knew that the Fed would not taper and has no way out of this (that's why the idiots at CNBC all though the Fed would taper. Surprise Surprise  You can't unwind this. It will go on forever until there is a collapse. Lucky for Ben, he'll be gone before it happens.

I don't know much about the topic, but it seems to me that they're just buying time before a collapse, and in the process, worsening that inevitable collapse.

Are they expecting some sort of miracle to happen before doom knocks on the door? War perhaps?

So much for an improving economy.

I'm saving cash for when they do taper. There should be some bargains.

I wouldn't hold my breath on tapering.

With Yellen as Fed head, she might actually raise to $120 Billion Us per month and lower the Fed rate to -0.25%.

Will it work? Noone knows, negative interest rates have never been tried on this scale.

I think I understand what you mean, but hopefully you aren't actually "saving" cash as your money will be worthless when the time comes.

Hello bitcoins!

It's all built on hope. Hope of what I dunno, lol. So much for 2008 when everybody was like 'ooooh, we learned our lesson about being responsible and not loading up with debt, etc...'

I'm beginning to think its not such a bad thing. If they can stretch it out for five years, then they can stretch it out for twenty.

And I figure by then, it won't matter to me personally. Sure the future generation will be pretty much screwed... But maybe someone will figure out cold fusion by then too.

Agreed you crazy uncle.

Now once such a no money Utopia has been achieved, then what's the incentive for the guy to remove shit from your clogged up pipe?

You can print as long as your currency remain relevant and used as key for world resources.
