What's your pick for the best Chinese BBQ in Calgary?

I find the Ginger Beef by Panorama does a good job with their BBQ pork and roast pork.

Take out only.

Oxford: (http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/restaurant)

restaurant
Pronunciation: /ˈrɛst(ə)rɒnt, -r(ə)nt, -rɒÞ/

noun

a place where people pay to sit and eat meals that are cooked and served on the premises.

Under "related" i also found this

Chinese Restaurant Syndrome (http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/Chinese-restaurant-syndrome)
noun
[mass noun]
an illness marked by short attacks of weakness, numbness, palpitations, and headaches, often attributed to overconsumption of monosodium glutamate (used as a seasoning in Chinese cooking).

Tried BBQ Express today, pretty good. Lean BBQ pork was damn tasty for lean BBQ pork. Gotta try the fatty pork next.

Isn't SCK now called Sun's BBQ?

That's the one inside Lamda.

That used to be the best in town but chef left.

Found a place called Feng Kee BBQ House in the strip mall west of the T&T in Harvest Hills:

The BBQ duck was pretty good. They even have tables so you can sit in.

SCK is still the best when it comes to fatty pork.

BY FAR the absolutely best for siu yuk (I assume that's what you're talking about) WAS Ginger Beef in Country Hills. They've since axed the BBQ meat portion, and I am actually quite sad. The pork skin was thin and crispy and grilled to absolute perfection.

I'd say next best is BBQ Express, but you must eat there as soon as you get it, otherwise the styrofoam container traps all the moisture and the crispiness is lost by the time you get home.

BBQ Express also has decently priced take out 'rice boxes'. You pick your meat and get a huge heap of rice, and less than $8 I think.

If anyone is ever looking for orange squid, 2 places still have it, but not all the time: T&T and Tong Kee/Wai's in Chinatown (http://goo.gl/maps/37pX8). You do have to make your own dipping sauce though (very easy) - following is the ratio I use: 1/2 hoisin, 1/4 Koon Chun BBQ sauce, 1/4 water, dash of cock sauce.

I thought i saw the chef at T&T country hills but i could be mistaken. didn't try it when i was there.

BBQ express though for roast pork for sure. especially if you get it in the morning when it's still hot and fresh.

I'd see if BBQ express has it. I'm certain when I was there during the Thanksgiving week a couple guys were picking up a couple roast pigs. They're closed Tuesdays so try Wednesday.

I thought they weren't allowed to sell it here... I.e. you get a small pig, not a true suckling pig. Stupid since we can eat lamb hahaha.
