Using Google Maps in China

I was wondering if anyone had any info on whether Google maps is accessible in china. I've built and saved some maps on Google, but i want to make sure i'll be able to use them when in China. Thanks.

Worked fine for me, I traveled from Hong Kong to Baoji. Purchased a sim card when I hit the mainland and added data as I needed.
