Thank you Canada for killing frosts.

If they're the same as the Japanese ones, they release a pheromone on anything they bite to attract the other ones in the area.

I saw a similar documentary once in full HD. There was something ominous and eye opening about seeing such a relentless massacre and knowing that we share the planet with such creatures. Reminded me of Starship Troopers in real life. Those things are just plain wrong. I guess this goes to show that honey may be the ultimate warrior fuel!

Hornets have always been so interesting to study. I dont find them that scary as compared to tarantulas or cockroaches. Maybe because of how "badass" they are and they dont look super creepy?

:dunno: lately I've gotten better an better at swatting a flying wasp to the ground an stepping on it to finish it off. I'd imagine these fuckers aren't as quick..so i would test my luck with a couple of them....if its a swarm though, fuck it, I'm out!:burnout:

I have only been stung a few times in my life
First time I got stung on the ass by wasp when I was little
Second time 13, a bud I am were spray painting the side of a building when we saw cops and quickly ditched our paint behind this forked tree. I stuck my foot in the bottom of the tree and all of a sudden all I could hear was buzzing inside my ears. They flew up my pants into my shirt I was covered then I started to feel intense pain all over my body. I freaked out went running down the alley tearing my clothes off down to my boxers. I might have even ripped them off, i don't remember
I think I got over 100 stings, went to the doctor and he said we would be fine.
I dream about that once and a while.
Last time was about 10yrs ago at some snowboarding thing downtown. I accidentally brushed a bee off my hawaiiian tshirt and bang i got stung on my pinky. i had pain and a mark for more then 6 months
I can't imagine what those stings feel like and looking at the pictures of that dudes arm with the holes in it

Well, those hornets dont just bite, their bite has venom in it which produces acid which causes the deep burns.
Japan has something similar too

Their bites don't pass venom. The only venom is through the stinger. The biting is used only when eating, not attacking.
