View Full Version : Caterham too big? How about a miniature one...

Saw this over on another forum. A gentleman with a SV bodied Caterham had a miniature version made that runs and drives! He plans to paint it like his full scale one and maybe put a bike motor and trans in it eventually as well, for now it does run and drive though!

I had the pleasure of seeing his full size car (pictured) up here in Canada this summer when owners from around the world met for the Grizzly Bear Blat through the Rocky Mountains (Red Deer to Victoria), and I can honestly say I have never seen a street car accelerate as fast as his. Its a SV chassis (wider and slightly longer) powered by a turbo Miata engine making roughly 300WHP!

It looks like a Power Wheels next to the normal bodied one. That's awesome!

Just called them. They are figuring out pricing next week but he said ~roughly~ 5500$ + the engine since there are two options either an electric engine or a 99cc gas engine
