I tried searching to see if their was any info on this already but I came up dry.

I have a parts car that im done with and now need to get rid off. It has no engine, wheels or suspension. I dont want money for it I just want it gone. I have called 10 places I have found through the internet and no one wants it because it doesnt have an engine. Considering the engine is worth tripple what they would normally give me for the whole car thats not happening.

Can anyone help me out with someone who can just get rid of it for me? Thanks.

Generally, in the maritimes anyway, call a tow company and tell them youve got a car for scrap. They will probably come pick it up

On a related note, anyone know someone that might buy junk cars? Have a 2006 Windstar with a blown head gasket, but mostly everything else is good in it.

Don't want much money for it... just figured if I could get a couple hundred for it instead of towing away for free.

Those where the people I was calling. They will only give you $200 for it. They refused to take mine because it didnt have the engine or suspension, otherwise they wont care what shape it is in.

if you have access to a truck go to U haul and rent a Tow dolly ($50) and take it to picknpull or calgary metals if you drain all the fluids. you will probably make $200 profit on it at Calgary metals.
