^ Yeah, there isnt much you cant buy from various Russian surplus dealers....

I've seen tons of stuff like this for sale, old tanks, mobile missle launchers, TONS of trucks much like this, and so on.

$52k landed for this isn't too shabby, but you can buy something like this unit for about the equivalent of $15-20k CAD out there, then you just have to bring it in yourself. I should talk to my former co-worker (Russian), he knows of all the sites that you can buy these from. I used to know myself, but that was years ago since I never seriously considering importing one. If anybody seriously wants to import one, or something similar, PM me, I'll connect you to him as he'd be a phenomenal broker for ushering in such a deal.

Id be pretty giddy to rock this as a winter vehicle/ summer off road rig though.

Im sure this would turn heads more so then most exotics in town. :thumbsup:

yes, but my brother went and looked at this one (he's into offroading) and it has a bunch of extras that most don't, plus it's here and fully serviced and everything. My brother looked at bringing one up from the states (Idaho National Guard), but by the time he imported it and everything, he would be around the same price, just with a lot more headache. I personally thought it was a pretty good deal (considering I know absolutely nothing about military vehicles), and especially compared to whats been posted in this thread already I figure this would actually be somewhat practical in everyday use......

That would be badass for a moving company or something, definitely get the neighbours talking if that thing rolled up in front of your house and a dozen guys in camo jumped out of the back and started loading your house in to it, haha

They've been building these BRDM-2s for almost 30 years, I'm pretty sure there are tons of post soviet FSR countries that have them sitting in a field, I know you can get running/de-militarized BTR-60s in Bulgaria and Hungary for only €8000, idk about importing them here though.
