Ok i posted not that long ago that my car under boost sounded like a tea kettle. well i have pinpointed the noise, its coming from the intercooler some where. Question is I have a KO intercooler kit. But when i installed it i realized after that they didn't send me the recirculation shield. Could that be the reason for the noise or would this be a leak. I have checked and tighted the hose clamps, any other ideas

Is it a whistling noise out of the IC?
Could there be a hole in the IC?

I've also fixed another guy's mr2. Bad whine sound. It was his a/c. There's a lot of moving parts by that side of the car. Can you post a vid of the sound?

I just bought a ko street brawler and intercooler kit so i would be interested to see how this turns out. Mines a 92 turbo and we were gonna do the install this winter. BTW i have a denso oem cap ,rotor & NGK wires for the 7mm conections. mine is a 5mm pin type so i would be willing to part with it for half price.Any ways im happy to find some Mr2s still boosting in the calgary area :clap:
