#1: Why the hell would you post this in the MEMBERS PHOTO GALLERY????

#2: There is something called the newspaper/bargainfinder...they have something called a "classifieds section" find that section in your local newspaper...open it...and read it

#3: Check around on local websites/canadatrader.com for an ae86

#4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 on a daily basis until you find one

"mwhahah" hope that helps

This is a calgary based forum so most of the cars are in calgary which wouldnt do you much good.

This is a canada wide AE86 (and old toyota's in general) site, you should have better luck there:

how can u get a panda trueno in any color? panda means white/black. and why 85 and not 86 or 87? and how does it own all cars? and why dont u find one the same way u find all used cars?

are u 16?

this may seem harsh, but i hope u dont find one, cuz u seem like the type to fuck it all up.

hey i think he's into the intial D phase where he thinks AE86 can beat skylines and rx-7's etc and that he will be a takumi ...
i know some websites which will flame you for doing this so unless u really love the car for what it is ... i hope you never find one. your probably the type which will get the car and bag the thing coz it doesn't even beat civic's (stock of course).

I have a '85 corolla GTS coupe sitting in my parent's backyard in Victoria, BC.

My first car over ten years ago, man I beat the sh*t out of that poor little car.

Compared to what?

When I was a kid I thought mine was pretty quick and the RWD was fun.

The car is a generally a high 17 1/4 at sea level on a perfect day when stock. so that puts it in 18's up here and maybe even 19's as its almost 20 years old. Depends on the Driver as well. Im sure most will agree, thats slow. The cars definetely 'feel' quick, but thats different than actually being quick.
But thats all bench racing, so take it for what its worth.

The rubber fender trim on the later cars can trap water and other stuff, but I can't see any other reason.

Well, it's possible, it just depends on the course...I mean, drifting or other races that require sharp turns and such, the Corolla would have a big advantage, you know. I read about this race (optimized for drifting and turns) in Japan about this guy who raced a 180hp Trueno AE86 against cars that easily overpowered it by like, 200-300hp, but he was able to beat them because of the turns, blah blah blah. But of course, this takes very highly tuned driving skills...so if you really want that 86, don't expect to beat anyone for a few years. :)

i own a 85 corolla gts , it seems to go better than most civics around here, it will out handle almost anything on the road, i can take corners in that car faster than any other car i have driven.

but theres a difference between fun and actual roadholding..

i wouldnt really call it terrible, i have many new cars, it handles better than most of them, it just has new stock shocks and struts . i owned a 92 prelude for a while it would out handle that without really trying . i could never reach that corolla's handling capabilities, i would take 20 corners at 100 and the handling would barley break . and this is just with yokohama avid h4 tires . i have had other people drive it and they didnt belive how well it handeled for a older car, just my opinion, but i think it is one of the best hadling car i have driven
