A hunter northwest of Cochrane came to the rescue of a man who ended up in the water after his car veered off a bridge into Waiparous Creek.Francois Blanchette spotted the man in the creek Tuesday afternoon. He says the man was wearing nothing but underwear and a shirt.Blanchette pulled him out of the water and tried to revive him.“I was just talking to him, ‘breathe, breathe’, and I was clapping my hands over his ears. I checked his pulse and he had no pulse. It was pretty traumatic.”STARS air ambulance flew the man to Calgary’s Foothills Hospital _in life-threatening condition. He is being treated for hypothermia

Unfortunately it was Tristan, (salesman at platinum Mitsubishi, beyond forum sponsor and one heck of a car guy)
The Alberta Evolution group has been talking about it and according to his friends on Facebook he has passed away.

Rest In Peace

I'm sure everyone once in a while thinks of something like that driving over a bridge, I know I do. Scary.

RIP indeed.

As soon as I saw it was an Evo 9, I thought it could be him. Crazy.

Wow, that's crazy. Tristan had just emailed me a couple weeks ago about some tires... Wild. RIP.

QR77 was reporting this morning that the driver was in hospital recovering from hypothermia...
Then again last week QR77 reported multiple shots fired in the Southeast in Marlborough park and Abbeydale..

Just saw the Evo parked outside Erol's in Cochrane. :/

Hope he pulls through if what QR77 is reporting is correct.
