WTB: smaller SUV

Looking to buy a import SUV up to $5000 for my brother. Will consider RAV4's, CRV-s, Pathfinders, Tributes, Escapes, Libertys, Xtrails etc etc.

How cheap do you want to go lol....I got a 1998 Pathfinder, Chilkoot, auto, 25x,xxx km, it was red but I spraybombed it dark gray, just the outside, all door jambs still red...the only thing wrong with it is the rear wiper is dead, and power door locks dead (I just lock it manually)...it has winters on it now and I also have a separate set of stock wheels with all seasons for the summer.

Is the $5000 budget still the max? I've got an 07 cr-v but we're looking to get a bit more than that out of it.

Might be able to push it up to 6 now but thats probably not even close enough to what you would want for it. What are you looking to get for it?
