Description :

Up for sale is my 1991 Lexus LS400. It has been one of the best and most reliable cars I've owned. Below is a full honest run down of the car.

THE GOOD

- Originally a US car (odo is in miles).
- Almost rust free. There is a small bubble by the gas door and bubbles where the front fenders meet the bumper. Otherwise clean.
- 4.0 V8 1UZ-FE runs well, great power, premium gas only.
- Compustar one way remote start and alarm with keyless entry and remote trunk popper. LONG range.
- Currently sits on decent condition Michelin X-Ice tires
- Foglight DRL mod
- Clear corners
- New battery last winter
- Wired for sub
- Comes with 8 new NGK sparkplugs (haven't had time to put them in).
- LED dome and plate lights
- Brand new alternator

- The car was slammed for a while over summer. This means all the hard work is done in that regard including:
** Fenders rolled x4
** Strut towers modded for FUCA clearance at low height
** Wire harnesses on both sides tucked up above frame so you dont rub through them
** Rear sway has been removed (endlinks bind at really low height). I still have it and can include it if buyer wants. I haven't noticed a difference daily driving it without one.

- Its currently lowered (not as low as before) with JIC coilovers up front and stock rear suspension with half a coil cut in the rear. The original front JICs were blown so I'm currently running the rear JICs in the front. The 2 blown front JICs can be included as well for rebuild.

THE BAD

- Climate control screen is burnt out (common on LS400s). Heat and fan speeds still work fine.
- Center vent has a crack in it
- CEL was on before I changed the alternator. It hasnt come back on since then.
- Sunroof drains need to be blown out with air. Has a slight drip on the passenger side a pillar when you pressure wash it because of the clogged drains.

Here's a couple of when it was slammed for anyone wondering what's possible with proper coils and the "low mods"

Alternator died today. Price down to $2000 as it sits if anyone wants it with the broken alt. When I have time to fix it the price will go back up to $2500.

Bump.

I re-sealed the bead on the tire with the leak, seems to have fixed it. I also found the stock deck so that will be going in before the car sells as well.

Bump, still daily driving this car. No sign of the CEL coming back on so I'm assuming it had something to do with the old bad alternator.

Throw me an offer.
