I just wanted to post a quick review, as I was just at calgary BMW getting my rims switched over from summers to winters, and since they'll change em for 40 bucks, you can't go wrong but to take em there every season...

So my car was booked in for 1:30, the last time I had my car serviced at calgary BMW, with a booking, it took them almost 2 hours before they even took my car into the shop, which, for someone like me who sits in their show room during the entire process is just plain disrespectful. If I have an appointment at 1;30, I expect them to take my car in around that time, not 2 hours later, I sat there for 4 hours like an idiot last time. and, they didn't even do anything to make up for it either, which pissed me off even more.

It was alot different this time. I came in, and the shop was just swamped. I couldn't even park my car indoors, cause it was so over crowded. As I pulled up Jesse literally ran out and apologized for the inconvenience, and asked if I could just bare with em and park my car outside, and that he would attend to me asap. so I did.

I walked in, and Jesse took me on immediately. told me, that my car would be taken in promptly and that he would phone me when it was done. That was exactly what happened this time, car was taken in within 7 minutes of me arriving and done relatively quickly.

There were issue's with my car, Jesse explained everything to me, I had to have a tire replaced, and my car needed balancing. course... me being me, I kinda lost it on him, why this wasn't covered under warranty etc, I was giving him a rather hard time about it too. he kept calm and told me to sit tight, and started running around the entire shop.

When he came back after about 10 - 15 minutes later, told me he felt sorry for me that I needed to have the car balanced, so he told me that BMW would be happy to cover it this time around ($370). ok great.

I just wanted to write this review cause I felt like this guy truly went out of his way to satisfy me, he even gave me a free bottle of rim cleaner because of the shit that happened the last time I was in there as a thank-you for coming back. (best rim cleaner ever btw)

If you need to have your car serviced, or just need some good decent quotes on repair, give this guy a call, he'll take care of you.

10/10 dude, good job, u made my Rolodex.

Its when you have a really fat driver, they add weights to the passenger side so the car drives straight. Common on Kia's.

I couldn't imagine being a service writer for BMW. This brand has to have the highest percentage of entitled, douchebag customers of any manufacturer out there.

Why would any of that be covered by warranty? Looks to be normal wear. What's German for "pound sand"?

you take the bus for $2.75 right?

maybe when you step up to a 100k+ car that's still under warranty, purchased with all the extra service packages, and it's constantly in need of re-alignments you'll understand.... mmmk. now take your shit else where.

This is the 2nd time it's needed a re-alignment in the 3 years I've owned it. and I treat my cars like gold, never ever hit anything with it, or curb'ed it. its frustrating, to me anyways.

All i'm saying is it was nice of them to cover it, even though they didn't need to.

According to your Beyond neighbor, you drive pretty hard. You dont need to hit something to get your wheels mis-aligned, when constantly taking corners hard.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why anyone would spend 100 K + for a BMW..is that just a total exaggeration or did you tick off every box on the options just to be able to tell people how much you spent?

Options sure add up! I know my 135i was $59500ish all in when the original owner bought it, it has every package/option except iDrive and an automatic transmission. And that's for supposedly one of BMWs cheapest models to buy. It had around $13-15k of options added on from the base 135i.

I am glad I did not buy new, and likely won't buy a brand new car ever, the depreciation is nuts!

I had the opportunity to work with/around some of the wealthiest people in Alberta and all i can say is the ones who have REAL money dont say a word about it. They dont need to. The ones who finance a $100,000.00 car to go tell everyone about it are the patented Calgary "30K Millionare". Leveraged to the tits but god I look rich. Holt Renfrew credit card cowboys... The wealthiest people i know wouldnt be caught dead wearing a gucci belt buckle or wearing Louis V prints. They rock the "subtle" fuck you products... pair of wrangler jeans and a basic button up with a $50,000 watch. I get a kick out of the guys who boast about what they drive to elevate themselves to a prestigious class structure. You may think youre at the party bro, but youre on the outside looking in through the window...

Lol. What the hell is going on here.

Why did I watch the whole episode of say yes to the dress when all I was interested in was the lesbians who were getting married.

Spoiler: they were BOTH lipstick lesbians. Almost doesn't exist in real life!

I don't understand why people get upset over other peoples finances.
The vast majority of rich Canadians put in time and effort to get to where they are.

Who cares how he spends his money.

The guy was posting a review and suddenly we're talking about home prices and HELOC's???

...and BMW owners are not assholes either.
(Apparently people driving lifted crew cab 4x4's are the new assholes.)
