Annoying Ad-Bar on iPad

Over the last week or so I've been getting the below ad bar when I browse beyond. I don't think it's coming from any of the other tabs that were open during the screen capture as I get it when I browse beyond with them all closed. I deleted all my cookies, etc and it still comes up. I'm also only getting this bar when I browse beyond and only on the iPad.

Thoughts?

I get it on my galaxy as well.

Don't see it on my Galaxy S3 - I'm assuming the gray bar at the bottom.

Edit: Never mind, it showed up - just had to wait for a bit. Must be a beyond.ca thing.

Based on the lack of admin responses in this thread, is it safe to assume that it's not an intrusive ad and just a decision by Beyond to use this ad bar going forward?

We are testing a couple of ad networks over the next couple months so there may be a different types of ads. Our account rep will be making changes based on performance of each.

Hopefully there will not be too many "annoying" ads, but there are bills that need to be paid. As always, let us know if there are any ads that takeover the page, or fly around and/or are generally intrusive to your browsing and we can provide feedback to the ad networks.

Thanks for the response and I can appreciate the revenue aspect of it all. I was originally concerned that it was some kind of malware on my device; appears that's not the case :thumbsup:
