Left Vernon at 10:00 am and roads were getting pretty bad by Revelstoke. Came around the corner and a horrible head on collision between two Semis had JUST happened. Steam still rising and people running towards the one cab, it was ripped open and crumpled beyond recognition driver's body still among the the wreckage.
Was going to stop and help but there was already half a dozen or so there. Weaved our way through the debris and got thru. Minutes later I guess emergency crews arrived and hiway is closed down. Horrible scene and very sobering.
RIP to the driver and for any passengers were in there with him.
