I'm in the process of making a test pipe for a motorcycle.
Basically it looks like a section of a 4-1 collector on headers, with a flange on the front and the rear
Since these are off a motorcycle though, finding blank flanges to weld straight pipe on them will be a challenge that will only end in wasting time.
I'd like to find a machinist or CNCist tht can mill some flanges out of stock steel.
Anyone ever attempt something like this?
Thanks for the advice and help.

^ Failing him, try www.qsine.ca
They do amazing work, and are always open to doing custom work as well.

Checked out their page, looks like an awesome shop! Sounds like a place I would actually work at :D
Another shop I have been hearing lots of buzz over is http://area51machinedesign.com/
I am just starting out with my machine shop but have been doing the work for the last 7 years or so.
I have a little series 1 Bridgeport cnc mill and a small turning center + manual equip. and welding.

I've had to purge quite a bit since you were here. There is actually room to walk around now!

BUMP.
Do you still do CNC work, legendboy? I'm looking to get some custom emblems made for my air-ride trunk setup.

I am back to work full time as a PM, my machining biz has gone major part time.
Pretty picky and choosy on what work I take on at this point.
Work is nuts
Send me a drawing I will let you know
