UofC Mixed Intramural basketball?

I have a couple questions about what to expect if I registered for one of the mixed leagues as an individual.

1. How much different is the level of play between A and B? Which would you recommend?
2. And on average how many guys are there compared to girls?

Can't remember much about the skill level, but like most other co-ed teams, there's usually way more dudes than girls.
