Can you guys tell me what other makes/models has this feature?

On my 328X I have the push start button, after I start the car, I can leave it running, exit, close the door and use my fob to lock it. I absolutely love this feature. I didn't even know my car could do that until some friends were chatting about it.

Yea yea yea, I know you can use another key to lock the door (not as convenient), get a remote starter ($1700 for this car not feasible).

I don't have the push button start, but I can lock my Sierra when it's running with the fob.

Yeah my truck (chev) allows it. Only problem is, the god damn thing locks itself sometimes when the key and fob is inside! :banghead:

Should be able to disable auto-lock on the DIC.

My Genesis doesn't let me lock it. Can start it and leave it running with or without the fob in it, but cannot lock it from outside once I turn it on.

Totally caught me by surprised that the 328 let me do this. It makes running errands easier on a cold day and don't have to worry about someone driving off with it. Unless they smash the window and jump in etc. :nut: :burnout:

All it does is give you a beep to let you know the fob isn't in the car haha.

You can do it with the manual key. I do it all the time.

Any Ford with a key pad will let you do it too.

I can do it on my Montana but my fob decided to try and die on me this morning when it was running and locked :nut: took about 20 tries before it worked I will admit I was starting to sweat a little.

i have a 1999 lexus gs300, and i have to use a second key to lock my doors with the ignition running. makes it a little more difficult but still nice to be able to leave it running. really hoping santa brings me a remote start tho....

I think any BMW with comfort access has that feature. Even my oldass E60
Jump in, push start, walk out with fob, lock doors, profit

2010 TL, can't lock it with the fob once it's started.

No profit for me :(

On my Charger, I can leave it running and lock it with the fob or the button on the handle.

this is good to know, so i can leave my GS running at the car wash without the fear of it locking itself? My EK civic used to lock itself while running so i've been wary of that on every car since..

No I mean sometimes the truck will just be sitting there parked and you will hear it beep out of the blue and lock the doors. I have my key/fob on a clasp so it doesnt jingle while driving, so I always try to grab one or the other when I hop out, so I dont get locked out.. again..
